Mandira Bedi’s Husband Raj Kaushal’s Demise: Ashish Chowdhry Remembers His ‘Big Brother’; Actor Shares Unseen Throwback Pics Of Late Filmmaker

Bollywood filmmaker-producer Raj Kaushal, husband of actor Mandira Bedi passed away on Wednesday. He suffered a cardiac arrest. Raj Kaushal was 49. The sad news broke out during the early hours on June 30. Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi’s friends and colleagues stood strong by the actress during her tough times. A day after Kaushal’s demise, his close friend Ashish Chowdhry shared some throwback pictures with the late filmmaker and remembered him in a post on Instagram. Ashish paid a tribute to his ‘big brother’.

Ashish Chowdhry posted a string of pictures featuring Raj Kaushal and him, right from their days as young boys. He shared the photos and wrote, “My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone.” Ashish also said he lost his brother, who supported him, just like his sister Monica. He added, “My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him. I love you forever, my Rajiee. Until then my bro. Until we meet again.” The unseen pictures shared by Ashish speak of the bond he shared with the late filmmaker.

Meanwhile, Raj Kaushal’s last rites took place on Wednesday itself. Mandira Bedi was clicked breaking down in tears, while Ashish Chowdhry, Rohit Roy and others stood by her in support. As per online reports, Raj Kaushal had met with Ashish Chowdhry, Zareen Khan and Neha Dhupia for lunch.
