Shlok Sharma's Haraamkhor, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shweta Tripathi (of Masaan fame) in lead roles, is a teacher-student love tale. The first-look poster of the film is out now.
Set against the backdrop of a small town in Gujarat, the story revolves around the extra-marital affair between a school teacher (Shyam) and his teenage student (Sandhya).
Haraamkhor was premiered at the 15th annual New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) and Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA).
Nawazuddin received the Best Actor award for the film at the NYIFF.
The movie will premiere in India at the Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival on November 2.
