Meezaan Jafferi On Rumours Of Dating Navya Naveli Nanda; Says 'It Became Awkward For Me To Enter Jalsa'

Meezaan Jafferi made his debut in Bollywood with Mangesh Hadawale's Malaal alongside Sharmin Segal. Up next, he will be seen in Hungama 2 which also stars Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty and Pranitha Subhash. On the personal front, Meezaan is rumoured to be dating Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. And now, in a recent interview, Meezaan addressed the link-up rumours and said that they are just friends.
Speaking to ETimes, he also said that the link-up rumours gave him a tough time. He added that it became awkward for him to enter Bachchan's house, Jalsa, and it became tough for him to face his parents. But the awkwardness is gone now. He said, 'I last went there when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there. Jalsa is actually a monument, you cannot be missed by the paparazzi if you go there.'
He further clarified that he and Navya became friends because of his sister. 'They both studied together in New York. Plus, our family - hers and mine are in movies. So we know each other.' On the work front, Meezaan and the entire team of Houseful 2 took to Instagram and shared a new poster of the upcoming film.
