Meezaan On Relationship Rumours With Navya Naveli Nanda: ‘Whenever I Have Said Something, It Has Been Written As Something Else’- EXCLUSIVE
Meezaan, who will be soon seen in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2, talks about how he deals with the rumours of him dating Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda
After making an impressive debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Malaal in an intense role opposite Sharmin Segal, Jaaved Jaaferi’s son, Meezaan is all set to carry forward his family’s comedy legacy and explore his lighter side in Priyadarshan’s comeback to Hindi cinema after eight years, Hungama 2. The actor will be seen opposite Pranitha Subhash, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Paresh Rawal in the comic caper that is releasing this week on July 23 on Disney+ Hotstar.
However, beside his work in the film, Meezaan has also been in news lately for his alleged romance with Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. Ask Meezaan how he deals with these rumours and he responds, “I try not to think too much about it. People can say whatever they want. I have tried to give my justifications at times as well, but whenever I have said something, it has been written as something else, so then I gave up on that too. I would like to leave it now and have decided that I will not talk anymore about this matter. I will focus on my work and keep my personal life personal.”
In an earlier interview, the actor had clarified that he and Navya are just friends and he knows her through his sister. He had also spoken about how the rumours have made their visits to each other’s homes awkward.
Meanwhile, on the work front Meezaan has Hungama 2 and the actor informs that his next after that should be announced in the next month or so.
