Filmmaker Meghna Gular is celebrating her 47th birthday today, and her leading ladies Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, from Chhapaak and Raazi respectively, made her day even more special with their birthday posts for her!
Meghna Gular, one of the best directors in Bollywood, is celebrating her birthday today. On the occasion of her birthday, people took to social media to wish her and poured a lot love. The legendary poet Gulzar and actress Rakhee’s daughter turned 47 on December 13, 2020. Many celebrities also wished her including her leading ladies Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. The actresses showered love on the filmmaker, while sharing adorable pictured of her.
Deepika took to her Instagram story to share a monochrome picture of Meghna Gulzar with a sweet message in which she referred to her as ‘mama’. The message read, “Happy Birthday. Hope you’re having the best day ever by treating yourself just a little bit! Love You Mama! @meghnagulzar.” Alia Bhatt also took to the same platform and shared a throwback picture of theirs and her captioned read, “Happy bday Megs!! I hope you’re having the bestest day with beer and peanuts….love you loads!!” The picture shared by Alia seems to be from the sets of Raazi.

Chhapaak released on January 10 this year, and Deepika essayed the role of Malti, an acid attack victim, in the film. It also stars Vikrant Massey in a pivotal role. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt portrayed the role of Sehmat Khan in Raazi, which was helmed by Meghna Gulzar. The film was a huge success, and won the Best Film award ar the 64th Filmfare Awards.
