Singer Mika Singh was arrested this afternoon for assaulting a doctor in Delhi. However, he has been granted bail for a sum of Rs. 20,000.
The assault took place on April 11 this year when Mika slapped a doctor during the concert at the DOS Conference in Delhi. Following the incident, a representative of DOS had even quoted saying that the doctor in question had suffered injury to the ear and had to be taken to the hospital.
The doctor had immediately filed an FIR against the singer. The cops had sent him a notice but the singer paid no heed.
A source told SpotboyE.com, “Mika was arrested from his house in Janakpuri and taken to Indrapuri Police station this afternoon. He was arrested under the sections 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 326 (Voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 327 (Voluntarily causing hurt to extort property or to constrain to an illegal act) under the Indian Penal code act. However, he has got bail.”
