Actor Milind Soman has faced a lot of criticism and questions ever since he tied the knot to Ankita Konwar. They have an age gap of 26 years but still, the gorgeous couple hasn’t let two decades get in the way and have been madly in love with each other. After all these years, their marriage has become a hot topic again. In an interview, the Bajirao Mastani actor was asked what are the chances of staying loyal when he is married to a much younger wife. Responding to the question, Milind says that the relationships are not about sex but more than that.
While speaking to Rediff.com, Milind said, "I think it has to do with the person, and what is important to you. The relationship is not about sex really, it's about the relationship itself. It is something that is satisfying. I don't think sex is all that important, it's the relationship that is important. The closeness is important. The warmth is important. The sharing is important. If you don't have that in a relationship, it's not the one." He further added, "You might have great sex, but it's not a relationship. I think people stray when they don't get the emotional support they need to lead their life."
Even Ankita reacted to the question by sharing the screenshot of the answer on her Instagram, praising his answer while also thanking him for being her husband. The post read, "I don’t know about the question but the answer is definitely logical and valid. Earlier, reacting to the huge age gap, Soman said that there should be no barriers when two people are in love. People’s love should be based on their feeling, and not based on what society thinks or believes.
