Mira Rajput Kapoor “makes Kardashians look hardworking and talented,” opined netizens as Shahid Kapoor's wifey reviewed Greta Gerwig's movie, Barbie on her IG story and compared the dance and songs of the movie with Bollywood. Well, netizens were in no mood to spare her and they even pointed out that marrying a celebrity comes with privileges! One even quipped that Mira is delusional and her opinions don’t matter.
For the unversed, the world is reeling in pink fever after the release of Greta Gerwig's movie, Barbie. The film has reportedly minted $356 million at the box office worldwide, with $162 million coming from the United States and $194 million coming from other countries. However, Barbie has been getting mixed reactions from the audience.
Amid it all, Mira took to her Instagram handle and dropped a picture featuring a dance scene from the movie, Barbie. The picture featured the lead actors, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling performing in a dance scene. Sharing the picture, Mira reviewed the film and wrote, "Hollywood this, Hollywood that...Well, Hollywood can't do song-and-dance like Bollywood can".
The screenshot of Mira's story made it to a Reddit thread and people stormed the comment section rendering mixed reactions to Shahid Kapoor’s review of Barbie. While some users agreed with Mira, others started trolling the actress for the same.
Reacting to Mira's opinion on Barbie, one user wrote, "I mean I don't think anyone's even comparing bw dances to the hw ones? It's like getting outraged for no reason.." Another user took to the comment section and wrote, "Her husband's numbers are usually good. Not all Bollywood." Another comment can be read as "Big words coming from someone who makes Kardashians look hardworking and talented...Babe your personality is wrapped around your man please stop talking."
