2003 release Andaaz starring Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar was a huge hit. Directed by Raj Kanwar, the story was a love triangle of sorts and had entertained the masses thoroughly. While the story kept the masses hooked to the seats, it was great to see two beautiful ladies together on the big screen. This film had got Miss Universe Lara Dutta and Miss World 2000, Priyanka Chopra, together for the first time. After years, we have stumbled upon some of their pictures from the days of promotion that provide great nostalgia.

The pictures that have made their way to the internet see Lara, Akshay and Priyanka posing together in Washington Hotel in Mayfair central London while promoting their film. We see Lara Dutta dressed in a beautiful pink saree with a backless blouse while Priyanka is in shorts and jacket. Akshay Kumar looks dapper in his suit. All three look very different from how they look now.

It was in the year 2000 that both the ladies had represented India in international pageants and brought the crown home. While Lara Dutta became Miss Universe, Priyanka Chopra became Miss World. Both the ladies forayed into Bollywood after that and did several films.


Lara Dutta has taken a break from her Bollywood career and is happily enjoying marital bliss with Mahesh Bhupathi.
