Amidst tight security, the PM flew down to Mumbai to attend Shatrughan Sinha's son Kush's wedding
Sonakshi Sinha had gone to invite PM Narendra Modi for her brother Kush's wedding. Seems, Modi believes that 'promises are meant to be kept'.
This afternoon, Modi was in Mumbai to attend the wedding bless the couple, Kush and Taruna (Agarwal, a London based family).
Sonakshi tweeted a happy picture of the couple along with Modi and thanked him for keeping his word. The tweet read: Thank you @narendramodi sir for keeping your promise to me! You made our day truly even more special."
Senior actors like Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan were in attendance among few others.
A bevy of celebrities from many walks of life are expected to grace the reception tomorrow.
