Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and actor Ranveer Singh’s first pregnancy has been a trending topic of discussion on social media. While a section of the internet was happy for the couple to embrace parenthood after being together for over a decade, some theorised that they have taken the help of surrogacy. Amid all the speculations, the couple was spotted out and about the city, as they stepped out to cast their vote for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Twinning in white oversized shirts and denim, the couple dismissed the surrogacy rumours as the actress was seen cradling her baby bump.
In a video shared by Viral Bhayani, on Instagram, Ranveer is seen protecting his wife from the paparazzi and fans as they close in on them to get a glimpse of the baby bump she cradles. Deepika is seen walking with her husband while cradling her baby bump, dismissing reports of them opting for surrogacy. Fans immediately took to the comment section of the post to lash out at naysayers for pointing fingers at the actress’ baby bump. For the unversed, Deepika fell in love with Ranveer Singh while working with him for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there. The actors had taken to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, announcing their pregnancy. They informed their fans that their baby will be arriving in September 2024.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. She has Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in the pipeline. She will also be entering Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty. She will mark her entry in the cop universe with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor starrer Singham Again.
