Mouni Roy All Set To Tie The Knot With Boyfriend, Dubai-Based Businessman Suraj Nambiar In January Next Year? Here's What We Know
Mouni Roy reportedly will get married to Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar next year.
Actress Mouni Roy is rumoured to be in a relationship with Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar. Although she has been tight-lipped about her relationship, both are often spotted spending time together, sparking off their dating rumours. Not to forget, Mouni had spent most of the pandemic in Dubai with Suraj. Now as per the latest report in India Today, the rumoured lovebirds are all set to get married in January 2022. The wedding will be an intimate affair and will take place in either Dubai or Italy.
According to India Today, Mouni’s cousin Vidyut Roysarkar, while speaking to a newspaper in her hometown of Cooch Behar, said that Mouni and Suraj will get married in January 2022. The ceremony will be held in Dubai or Italy. He also revealed that the actress will also hold a reception in her hometown. Roysarkar also said that he and his family will also be attending their wedding ceremony.
Speculation regarding Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar's marriage gained momentum after Mouni's mother reportedly met up with Suraj's parents to discuss the nuptials at actress Mandira Bedi's residence.
Another report, however, said the rumour of Mouni getting married to Suraj in January 2022 is false. “Marriage is definitely on the cards for Mouni, however it’s not happening in January. Whenever it happens, Mouni will be the first person to announce it herself,” a Pinkvilla report said.
This is however not the first time that reports of Mouni getting married to Suraj have surfaced. Earlier in January, a TOI report stated that Mouni will soon walk down the aisle with the Dubai-based banker. The report also claimed that the Naagin actress is very close to Suraj’s parents and is thinking of taking her relationship to the next level. “Her comfort level with his parents will be one of the major factors in precipitating her decision," the report added.
However, back in 2019, Mouni Roy, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, rubbished the rumours of dating Suraj Nambiar and said she needs to “meet the right person and wants to focus on her career.”
