Mukesh Chhabra Says Rhea Chakraborty Is Seeking 'Revenge' By Naming Him In Drug Case; 'My Name Has Been Dragged Into This Purely With Malicious Intent'

The Narcotics Control Bureau is neck deep into busting the drug nexus revolving around Bollywood stars. After a drug angle came to light in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the NCB got involved by registering a case against Rhea Chakraborty. The Jalebi actress currently stands arrested and is reportedly lodged in Byculla jail. Recently, reports had emerged that Rhea has given out names of Bollywood celebrities who consume drugs to the NCB. Names of stars like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and others had come to fore. Dil Bechara director Mukesh Chhabra's name had also made it to the headlines. However, in the latest interview, Mukesh Chhabra has slammed Rhea.

To Box Office Worldwide, Mukesh Chhabra shared that he does not even consume alcohol let alone hard drugs. He stated that Rhea is giving out his name out of revenge. He was quoted saying, "She is just naming any and every one randomly. Maybe she thinks it will help her case. But this is not fair. I’ve nothing to do with drugs of any kind. I don’t even smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol, so where’s the question of consuming hard drugs?”

Mukesh Chhabra further shared that his name has been compromised and that he will take legal action against Rhea Chakraborty. He was quoted saying, “We are definitely taking legal action against Rhea. We’re now looking at what remedial legal action is most appropriate. But I’d sincerely advise Rhea to not throw around names to deflect attention from herself. It won’t help her. I can’t speak for others.
