The defending champions Mumbai Indians retained their crown as they beat Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets on Tuesday at Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday and clinched their fifth IPL title. Bollywood celebrities had also been closely following the IPL matches, and had been excited to find out who will become the champions of IPL 2020. Now, as Mumbai Indians emerged victorious, celebs such as Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and others celebrated the win through social media posts.

As soon as Mumbai Indians won the match against Delhi Capitals, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media to celebrate as well as congratulate the winning team. Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram and shared a video rapping to Meri Gully Mein from his film Gully Boy. Ranveer seemed thrilled, as he performed the rap with an MI jersey on, and sharing the video on social media, the actor wrote, “CHAMPIONS!!!!! Make that 5 BABY !!!!! @mumbaiindians.”

Amitabh Bachchan called Mumbai indians’ win ‘simply incredible. Big B tweeted, “T 3617 - YEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH .. MUMBAI INDIANS .. VICTORY FOR THE 5TH TIME .. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE ..” Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan posted a picture that showed his hand in front of his face, symbolic of the 5th IPL title for MI. He wrote, “5 BABY!!! Come on!!!! @mumbaiindians Champions #ipl2020.”
