A case has been registered against actor Vishal Thakkar at Charkop police for allegedly raping a TV actress.
The victim, an actress who has worked in several TV serials, has alleged that the accused raped her in his house.
An FIR has been registered against the actor under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323, 509 (word/gesture/act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
The actor has not yet been arrested though.
Vishal has acted in movies like Munnabhai MBBS, Tango Charlie, Chandni Bar and also in TV shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
