‘My Relationship With Salman Khan Is Strained Now,’ Says Boney Kapoor; Is Thankful To Him For Taking Arjun Under His Wings Though
Boney Kapoor opened up about his kids Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi, Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula in a recent interview. He also shared that while his relationship with Salman Khan is strained now, he owes it to him for encouraging Arjun Kapoor to get into acting
Boney Kapoor has always been discreet when it comes to talking about his family. But in a recent interview, he was pretty open talking about his children- Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Khushi and Anshula. He said that even though he loves all his children, he doesn’t feel the need to be vocal about it. He also opened up about his equation with Salman Khan. He shared that while his relationship with Salman is strained right now, he owes it to him for encouraging Arjun Kapoor to get into acting.
In a candid interview with IANS, Boney Kapoor shared why he did not launch Arjun Kapoor’s acting career. He said that Arjun wanted to become a film director and hence he never launched him. It was only after Salman Khan called him one day and suggested that Arjun take up acting. That’s when Salman took Arjun under his wings and groomed him. "Unfortunately, my relationship with Salman is strained now, but initially Salman encouraged Arjun to get into acting. I owe this to Salman," he said.
Boney Kapoor was also asked about his favorite child and he replied that while all his children are his favourites, it is Khushi Kapoor, who is the apple of his eyes. “Woh chhoti hai na? Sab se chhoti bacchi hai meri (she is the youngest, isn't it? the youngest child of mine).”
Boney Kapoor also said that Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula, is the brightest kid of the family, having finished her graduation course from Columbia University in three years, which effectively was a four-year course. He was extremely proud of her and wanted her to be posted in Mumbai while she was working for Google in the US, which eventually did happen. ALSO READ:
