Nargis is inconsolable after her break-up with Uday and someone’s paying a heavy price for it

Nargis Fakhri, we hear, is still hurting badly from her break-up with Uday Chopra. It’s been months since the relationship ended, but the Rockstar actress is finding it difficult to come to terms with the fact.
A distraught Nargis had flown off to New York -- without even staying back for the promotions of Housefull 3 --- thinking home is the best place to heal all wounds (The Curious Case of Nargis Fakhri, May 13).

But clearly, distance has not helped erase her pain. Nargis is so upset, she has not yet returned to Mumbai, which is filled with sweet memories of her lost love.
And, her heartbreak has proved to be expensive for the makers of her next, Banjo. The movie, which stars Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis, recently went into a tangle, when the actress refused to co-operate for a brief stint of shoot, leaving the producers -- Eros International -- high and dry.

SpotboyE.com has it that the film’s director Ravi Jadhav contacted Nargis for shooting a song sequence in the city. No amount of cajoling and pleading could change her mind and heart -- and a source close to the change in plan, says that Jadhav had no option but to fly down to New York to film the sequence there. The filmmaker returned from the US just 2 days ago.
When contacted for his version, Jadhav started laughing- and he laughed more than he spoke. "Well, I have completed Nargis' portions in NY and I think I am done with her part. But, the shoot was never scheduled to happen in Mumbai. It was originally scheduled for NY- and NY it was," he said.
Will Nargis dub for Banjo in NY? Replied Jadhav, "I am pretty sure that Nargis will come down to Mumbai to dub for her scenes," and then he laughed again.

We wonder why he was laughing so much, but we'll ask him that some other day.
Back to Nargis' state of mind. Our sympathies are with you, girl. We totally understand the pain you are going through. But, being a professional, is it fair to make others pay through their nose for no fault of theirs? Please do live up to Jadhav's optimism (or should we say, cry for help?) of coming to Mumbai for your Banjo dubbing.
