The actors and the producer spent an evening together, catching up on old times when the show ran for 69 episodes and every episode clicked with the audience.
Majethia has always maintained that the show will not have a sequel, although actors like Naseeruddin Shah whose wife played a key role in the show, feel that the show must return.
When contacted, Naseer said, "I didn't watch the show with regularity when it was on air but when I watch stray episodes on flights, I seriously think the show should have had a second season. It was far ahead of its time and it was beautifully written."
