Naseeruddin Shah Gets Discharged From Hospital; Veteran Actor’s Son Vivaan Shah Shares His Pics

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah was admitted to Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital on June 29 after a small patch of pneumonia was detected in his lungs. Everyone has been praying for the actor’s speedy recovery, and thanks to the prayers, Naseeruddin Shah is back home. On Wednesday morning, he got discharged, his son Vivaan Shah informed in an Instagram post.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Vivaan shared two photos of Naseeruddin, wherein he can be seen with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah. The first post was captioned as, “Back home.”
Another picture has “He just got discharged today morning” written on it. While the first click shows the Ishqiya star using his phone, Naseeruddin is standing in his bedroom in the second click.

Earlier, while speaking to India TV, Vivaan Shah had informed that his father was fine and was responding well to the treatment. He was quoted as saying, “Dad is fine.. It's a patch of pneumonia which is getting treated. Nothing to worry... He is still in the hospital" Yes (he has a) small patch and all under control.”
On the professional front, Naseeruddin Shah will next be seen in the upcoming film Maarrich, directed by debutant Dhruv Lather. The movie will also feature Tusshar Kapoor, Anita Hassanandani, Rahul Dev and South actress Seerat Kapoor. Besides this, the actor also has The Miniaturist Of Junagadh with Rasika Dugal in the pipeline.
