National Film Awards 2019: Vicky Kaushal Dedicates 'Award To His Parents, Team Uri And Our Armed Forces'
The 66th National Film Awards winners list was announced, a while back. The Best Actor Award is shared by Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana for Uri: The Surgical Strike and Andhadhun respectively. After Khurrana expressed his gratitude to win this coveted award, Vicky too is super delighted and says it is moving moment for him. In his tweet he mentioned that he is dedicating the award to his parents and Team Uri. Read his Tweet below-


Apart from Ayushmann and Vicky winning the Best Actor award, Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor's Padman won Best Film on social issue, Sanjay Leela Bhansali bagged Best Music Direction for Padmaavat and Aditya Dhar, Best Director for URI: The Surgical Strike. Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho received the Best Hindi Film and Best Popular Film award respectively.

Meanwhile,  on the work front, Vicky will be next seen in Karan Johar's horror series, Bhoot: Part 1: The Haunted Ship along with Bhumi Pednekar. The multi-starrer and magnum opus Takht which will boast of some A-listers, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Shoojit Sircar's Sardar Udam Singh which will release on October 2, 2020, and Meghna Gulzar's next where he will be essaying the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the film. Aditya Dhar's Ashwatthama, an action-based superhero film set in modern times.
