Designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla hosted a fashion show yesterday as they completed 33 years in the fashion industry. The most shocking to watch on the ramp of the fashion show was Jaya Bachchan running to hug Meezaan Jaffery post-show. Well, we all know, Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter and Shweta Bachchan’s daughter Navya Naveli Nanda is rumoured to be dating Javed Jaffery’s son Meezan Jaffery. Yesterday, as the fashion show almost ended, Jaya Bachchan ran up to the ramp to hug and bless Meezan Jaffery, and it was not a sight to miss.
The fashion show hosted by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla was to commemorate the 33 glorious years the designers completed in the fashion industry. While Deepika Padukone graced the ramp turning showstopper for the designers, the actress looked like the ultimate queen of Bollywood with her elegance and poise. The event was attended by many Bollywood biggies, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan being amongst a few. As film Malaal debutant Meezaan Jaffery also walked the ramp looking dashing in black, Jaya Bachchan ran out on the ramp to hug and bless the actor, while Deepika and the designers looked on. Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan were both spotted standing and clapping all their way as the entire crowd at the fashion show were glued on to their seats. The Bachchan senior is surely impressed by Meezan and hence ran to the stage caring about no one, while Shweta just kept watching the show Jaya Bachchan pulled off.
Meezaan is supposedly dating Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda since quite long but both have denied the news as well. But Jaya Bachchan’s gesture for Meezan without being bothered and careless about the prying media is clearly surprising. Meezan on the other hand behaved like a true gentleman and greeted the veteran actress well. Later, Shweta Bachchan also accompanied Deepika Padukone and the designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla on the ramp. While all this occurred, Deepika was also snapped hugging Meezaan Jaffery on the ramp. Meezaan Jaffery is surely the happiest boy on the planet, receiving all the hugs.
