Bigg Boss OTT season 2 contestant Aaliya Siddiqui has been making the headlines for her tumultuous relationship with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Having washed all their dirty laundry in front of the public, their personal lives became the talk of the town for everyone to witness. Now the estranged couple has bound a new balance in their relationship and are currently co-parenting their kids Shora and Yani. In a new interview, she recently opened up about her decision to quit social media.
Talking to ETimes about the same, she revealed that not only has she quit social media, but also the entertainment industry so that she can focus on her kids. Elaborating on taking such a drastic measure, Aaliya revealed that her 13-year-old daughter Shora was continuously glued to her phone. It made her realise that, “if I don't quit social media, she will not.” She went on to state that the kids of today’s generation are going in the wrong direction. Aaliya went on to explain how her daughter reacted aggressively when she took away her electorics, however Nawazuddin fully supported her decision. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “Shora was aggressive initially when I took away her P55, her iPad and phone. She is her father's jaan but this time Nawaz has supported me. For the unversed, Nawaz married Aaliya, originally named Anjali Kishor Pandey, in the year 2009. Over the years, the couple has been embroiled in many marital disputes that made the headlines.
