The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is investigating the drugs link in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and Rhea Chalraborty’s talent manager Jaya Saha was summoned after her alleged drug chats with Rhea had been accessed. Further, as the NCB continues to investigate the alleged drug abuse by Bollywood celebs, it was reported by Times Now that Jaya Saha had named producer Madhu Mantena in the drugs case, after which he was summoned by the NCB today.
A little while ago, Madhu Mantena was spotted arriving at the NCB office today. Now, Times Now reports that the NCB will jointly grill Madhu and Jaya Saha today. They will reportedly be confronted at the NCB office in Colaba today, and that their alleged drug chats from June 22 are under the NCB lens. According to Times Now, in the chat, Madhu allegedly asked Jaya for weed and she replied saying that she will send. Times Now reported that Jaya Saha would procure CBD oil for Rhea Chakraborty, Madhu Mantena, and other stars, and she reportedly told NCB that this oil is available online and she merely ordered it.
Times Now also reported that Jaya Saha has submitted receipts of the CBD oil that she bought for Bollywood celebs. She also reportedly told NCB that Bollywood stars are depressed and so they resort to drugs to keep themselves happy. Take a look:
A few days ago, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s name also surfaced in the drugs probe after her alleged chats with her manager Karishma Prakash about ‘maal’, hash and weed were accessed by news channels. As per reports, Karishma was summoned by the NCB and according to Times Now, she sought an exemption citing health issues.
