Olympian Neeraj Chopra has been in the headlines since he made India proud at Tokyo Olympics 2020. He won a gold medal in the Javelin throw at the games. Neeraj Chopra has always maintained that Randeep Hooda and Akshay Kumar are his most favourite actors. Randeep had also shared a video of a section of one of Neeraj’s interviews where the Olympian can be seen praising the actor. When asked about his favourite actor, Neeraj said that he likes Randeep very much. He mentioned he liked Laal Rang, Highway and Sarabjit among the actor's films.
Randeep had also congratulated Neeraj Chopra for his big win. And on Wednesday, the two stars met at Army Sports Institute. This picture-perfect moment of the actor and athlete is worth cherishing. Randeep captioned the post, “कसुत्ता मानस !! Where does one go from the top? Very few face this question and even fewer have the answers. I deeply feel that you do Neeraj Chopra.” Notably, Neeraj Chopra had, when asked who he wants to star in his biopic, said that Akshay Kumar or Randeep Hooda would be a perfect choice. He was quoted as saying, “It’ll be great if a biopic is made. The people I like are Randeep Hooda from Haryana, and Akshay Kumar in Bollywood.”

Work-wise, Randeep Hooda has kick-started shooting for a web series. Titled Inspector Avinash, the web series will see actress Urvashi Rautela as the female lead. Hooda was also seen in Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction, a Netflix original film premiered amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
