Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married on April 14 in RK's Vastu residence. The couple's wedding took place in the presence of their close friends and family members including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor among others. Alia and the family members have been sharing photos from the couple's special day. Neetu had shared a picture with her son and said that she had fulfilled late Rishi Kapoor's dream. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020.

Neetu and the family members missed Rishi Kapoor. Now, a fan has edited one of the family photos from RK-Alia's wedding that features all the Kapoors and Bhatts. The fan added Rishi Kapoor's photo. Neetu and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reacted to the post. The veteran actor reshared the edit on her Insta stories, Riddhima wrote, "Love this edit! Thank you for sharing."
Neetu had shared a picture with RK from the wedding and captioned it, "This is dedicated to Kapoor Saab... your wish has been fulfilled." She had shared the family photo and captioned it, "My family (heart emoji)."

On the other hand, Neetu recently opened up about her son's wedding. TimesNow quoted her saying, "I believe a celebrity should not be completely accessible and that is one of the reasons Ranbir doesn't like to be on social media." She added that he doesn't like to make dancing videos and keeps things private. "He believes that there should be a mystery around an actor. Also he likes certain things to be private and one of them is his personal life and we all should respect it," she added.
