At present Alia Bhatt is in Ranthambore, along with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor and her family to ring in New Year 2021. Taking to her Instagram, the veteran star shared a lovely selfie of hers posing with Alia Bhatt and daughter Riddhima Kapoor and showered a lot of love for the duo in her caption. "Loves," wrote Neetu, followed with a heart. The adorable picture saw Alia sitting on Neetu's lap, while Riddhima hugged her from behind. Up next, Neetu posted a picture of hers with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, who has helmed Alia and Ranbir's upcoming film, Brahmastra and called him a "fire cracker," in her caption. Neetu then posted a picture of Ayan soaking some warmth from the bonfire, while Alia Bhatt's sister Shaheen was seated in the background.

In other news, rumours were rife that the Kapoor and Bhatt clan have flown to attend Alia Bhatt and Ranbir's engagement; however, those turned out to be just rumours. RK's uncle Randhir, in an interview with Indian Express, rubbished them all by saying, "It is not true. If Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged today, my family and I would have also been there with them. Ranbir, Alia and Neetu have gone there for holidays and to bring in the new year. The news of their engagement is incorrect.”
