Neha Sharma On Jogira Sara Ra Ra Co-Star Nawazuddin Siddiqui: ‘He Is A Self-Made Man, So I Have Immense Respect For Him’-EXCLUSIVE
It was in the second week of 2020 that Neha Sharma was seen on the big screen in the Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero. Since then, the actress has appeared in multiple music videos and a short film, but no feature film yet. But the actress is hopeful that it will change before the end of the year.

“There are two films of mine that I am really excited about, one is Jogira Sara Ra Ra with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It’s a beautiful film and the makers believe in the subject. It’s one of a kind and they want to release it in theatres only. They said that the theatres are expected to open around Diwali, so, we are looking for a post-Diwali release in around November or December,” she informs.

Speaking about the other film, Neha shares, “Before that, I have Aafat-E-Ishq which is again a very beautiful film. It is a remake of the Hungarian film, Liza: The Fox-Fairy. It’s a very experimental film and is also looking for an October-November release. We are also shooting for Illegal season 2 currently and that should also come by the end of the year. My birthday falls around the end of the year and that should be a big celebration this time.”

Neha wrapped up Jogira Sara Ra Ra sometime earlier this year, and the film pairs her opposite Nawazuddin for the first time, and the actress is all praise for her co-star. “Nawaz is a fabulous actor and it’s an absolute honour to work with him. I have always been a huge fan and loved the kind of work he does. Also, he is a self-made man, so I have immense respect for him. Working with him was like a breeze. He is so easy to work with, you can improvise with him and he brings so much more to the script. When you start working on the set, there’s so much you can change with him since he is so passionate about his projects. The script goes to another level with him,” she concludes.
