Mira Nair's nephew Ishaan Nair is making his debut as a director and he had finalized Neil Bhoopalam for the lead role. It's an international project, which Mira Nair is going to represent. A source close to project, however, informed that Neil was about to start shooting for the film, but was thrown out of film a week before the shoot started. Reason: His unreasonable demands. He also wanted some changes in the script. Mira got upset with these demands and asked Ishaan to cast someone else. So a new boy was finalised to play the lead at the last minute.
