Sonam Kapoor recently embraced motherhood as she welcomed her first child, a baby boy. On 20th August, the actress and her husband Anand Ahuja were blessed with their son. The Neerja star will be talking about becoming a mom for the first time in the September issue of Vogue magazine. Sonam also graced the cover page of the magazine, posing in an oversized unbuttoned shirt, cradling her baby bump. While she looked breathtaking, several netizens brutally troll the new mom for her choice of outfit.
Vogue shared a photo- shoot of Sonam on their Instagram handle where she is seen wearing a comfy unbuttoned t-shirt flaunting her cleavage. The actress re-posted the shoot on her Insta with her quote on becoming a mom. The post was captioned, “Priorities do change and I think that the child will become mine. The truth of the matter is that they didn’t choose to come into this world. You decided to bring them here, so it’s a very selfish decision.” However, netizens got miffed with Sonam for doing such a bold shoot and trolled her for the same. Many users pointed out why it is necessary for actors to go nude or seminude for their maternity photo shoots. Reacting to it, one user commented, “Mom banne k liye nanga banna parta hai kya sonam Aunty.” Another said, “Nude hone ke bahane chahiye bss in logo ko bss.” One comment read, “What nonsense? Now a days these celebrities do not get clothes!!.”
Power couple Sonam and Anand announced the good news via a statement on their respective Instagram handles. Their note read, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have supported us on this journey. It's only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed.”
In March this year, the actress announced that she is expecting her first child.
