Poonam Pandey speaks about her secret wedding with Sam Bombay amidst the COVID-19 pandemic
Sex siren Poonam Pandey tied the knot with her long time beau Sam Bombay amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on September 1, 2020, at a bungalow in Bandra and left everyone surprised. As per reports in Bombay Times, the two took the plunge after three years of courtship with first exchanging the rings on 27th July during the COVID-19 lockdown. The couple had a low key affair with just families and close friends being part of the celebrations.
In her conversation with Bombay Times, she spilt the beans about her wedlock amidst the pandemic; she shared amidst this sad phase across the world they decided to spread a little joy. She was quoted saying by the publication, “Amidst the ongoing pandemic and given the sad reports that we read on a daily basis, we decided to spread some joy. The wedding was a private ceremony at our home in Bandra, attended by family and select close friends who danced with us and blessed us.”
When asked why her wedding was a hush-hush affair, she replied, “It wasn’t. Sam and I are the most notorious couple! The wedding had to be private considering the COVID-19 situation.”
Also speaking about meeting Sam during a shoot, sparks flew between the two and they began living together two years ago. “I have known Sam for three years now and we have been living together for two years. I met him while shooting for a project. We couldn’t ignore the fireworks between us and everything has been like a romantic Bollywood movie since,” she said. Also bragging about her Mr. Right, she said, “I’ll need three months to list everything that made me fall in love with him. Of course, I’m gonna brag about my husband being the smartest on the planet according to me. Jokes apart, we are very similar in many ways.
