Sonam Kapoor Requests Fans To Not Get Personal & Troll Celebrities



Sonam Kapoor, who recently won a special recognition at the National Award ceremony, is not the one to mince words. Her opinions on various issues are often met with a lot of hate and trolling on social media. Remember her answer to the fairness cream controversy?

Also, in the recent past, a number of celebrities including Akshay Kumar (National Award win) and Sonakshi Sinha (Justin Bieber concert) were subjected to trolling on social media.

Looks like the recent goings on have prompted Sonam to send out a message to her fans.  In a series of tweets, the actress requested fans and followers to stop getting personal and trolling.

She wrote, “I request my followers and fans not to hate on someone and get personal towards other celebrities. Be better than that.”

“Please remember imitation is the best form of flattery. And it just showcases admiration. Please don't get personal and troll!" Sonam said in another tweet.


We agree with you Sonam. The trolls need to stop immediately! After all, India is a democracy. Isn’t it?
