Nikhil Dwivedi Gets Into An Ugly Spat With A Twitter User Who Said PM Modi “Shouldn’t Have Acknowledged Salman-Sanjay Dutt’s Greetings”
Actor-turned-producer Nikhil Dwivedi got into an ugly fight with a Twitter user who targeted Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The user started the spat when he said, “Modiji shouldn’t have acknowledged the greetings of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.” When he was asked , “why?” by another user, he replied, “Both are convicts.”

Replying to his “convict” tweet, Veere Di Wedding producer jumped into conversation and tried to explain, “Salman Khan has never been convicted. He ws exonerated by higher courts. Almost the same way as was PM Modi. Sanjay Dutt served time. So u obviously dn't believe in reform? &tht a person has a right to start fresh &be absorbed in the society aftr he has duly undergone punishment?”

Further, the user named Ram re-tweeted Diwedi’s tweet and wrote, “Sanjay Dutt helped terrorists in killing hundreds. I do believe in reform, not in cases of terrorism. Salman Khan has been found guilty in the blackbuck case and sentenced to 5 years. He is on bail. Comparison to Modi’s case is silly. No charges were framed against him.”

Nikhil further added, “He isn't on bail anymore sir. Kindly check your facts. And you dont need to tell anyone what Sanjay Dutt did or not. The Tada court took ample cognizance of that and punished him "only" under the arms act. Are you now questioning the honorable court's wisdom? Stop your prejudice”

Sharing a link of Salman Khan’s Blackbuck poaching case new update and said, “Here. His appeal will be heard on July 4. Happy to be corrected in case this is not true.”

Then replying to him the producer wrote, “Out of the 5 cases in which he was charged he has been exonerated in 4 of them. 1 remains which is trivial. Still u r prejudiced. Stems from an inferiority complex when u look down upon movie stars who don't appear very cerebral. You assume they r having it easy & u dont like it.”

Calling his analysis, “psychoanalysis”, the user continued saying, “Enough with your psychoanalysis. He is a convict. Period. Killing an endangered animal is not trivial. His past history is even worse. Beating women, driving over people in a drunken state. What’s there to feel inferior in front of such an asshole?”

Trying to end the spat, Nikhil then said, “But the court dosnt share the same view as urs tht he killed it or y wud they let him go? So basically u want to sit in judgment? Thn u shud allow people to judge Modi &Pragya too? Ur argument can't be selective &in favor of those who u endorse. Respect the court's verdict.”

Replying to his “beating women” comment, Dwivedi concluded the conversation saying, “&how do u kno he beat women? Stop reading Stardust too much. &let me assure u Im nt calling u out coz of Salman. Its ur prejudice abt movie stars time n again. Almost all r doing better than u. All look better than u. &yes some r evn better read &more educated than u. Accept tht.”
