Nikita Dutta’s Phone Snatching Case: Mumbai Police Arrests Three Persons-Report
'Kabir Singh' actress Nikita Dutta recently made headlines after her phone was snatched by bikers when she was walking on a street in Bandra, Mumbai. Last month, the actress shared her ordeal in her Instagram post, revealing that she was shocked when one of the bike-borne men tapped Dutta on her head, distracting her, while the pillion rider snatched her phone and ran away. Reportedly, Mumbai Police has now arrested three persons in the phone snatching case of the actress.

ANI tweeted, “Mumbai Police says it has arrested three persons in a case pertaining to the mobile phone snatching of actress Nikita Dutta in Bandra on November 28.”  Two men who allegedly snatched Nikita Dutta’s iPhone were reportedly arrested on Sunday. Another man who bought the phone from the accused has also been arrested. 



The police have recovered the phone and seized a stolen KTM bike, which was used in the crime. Assistant Inspector Avinash Nadvinkeri was quoted by Indian Express as saying, “They have confessed to committing three such robberies in the jurisdiction of Bandra, Khar and Juhu police stations. The duo were produced before a magistrate court and remanded to our custody till December 14.”

Earlier,  while talking to HT, Nikita Dutta recalled the horrific incident and stated that she "broke down" on the streets and that she was scared to step out of the house. “That night I didn't sleep at all. I had a panic attack the moment it happened. We went through the CCTV cameras but couldn't find anything useful. I've lost hope now, I don't know if I'll find it. The entire experience was horrifying,” she added.
