In the shocking turn of events, a girl named Nikita Tomar was brutally shot dead in Mewat by a boy named Tauseef, for allegedly refusing her proposal. According to Dainik Jagran, the murderer named Tauseef has revealed that he was inspired by a scene in Mirzapur 2 where the lead actor is shown murdering a girl for rejecting in the proposal. According to a report in Dainik Jagran, the accused confessed to Police that he was inspired by Divyendu Sharma’s character Munna in the Pankaj Tripathi led web series following which he decided to shoot Nikita for rejecting his proposal.

Soon after coming across the news report on Twitter, Kangana Ranaut slammed the makers for glorifying criminals and showing good looking young men playing negative and dark characters. She said these characters are shown as anti-heroes, not villains. She tweeted, " This is what happens when you glorify criminals when negative and dark characters are played by good looking young men and they are shown as anti-heroes, not villains then this is the result, shame on Bullywood for causing more damage than good always...”
