The writing team is currently working on the storyline, which will be completely different from the first one. And rightfully then, the cast of the original film stands very little chance to be repeated.

Abbas-Mustan told SpotboyE.com, "We're not very sure if any of the cast members of the previous Humraaz will be repeated in this instalment. It's a fresh story. So, mostly we'll look at a fresh cast. A call will be taken after the script is finalised."
