No Item Song For Jacqueline In Hero Remake

Jacqueline Fernandez is very close to her Kick star Salman Khan. So when the star had asked her to do an item number in his upcoming production Hero, which marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, she was happy to oblige.
However, latest buzz is, the item song has been dropped.
Turns out, Jacky had started rehearsing for the song with Sooraj last month. However, when director Nikhil Advani and the producers saw the rough cut, they decided against shooting the song as the film looks fine without it. They also thought the movie would become unnecessarily lengthy with the addition of the track.
