Once a popular landmark in Mumbai, Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow Aashirwad has now been reduced to rubble. The late superstar’s Carter Road home is being demolished by its current owner, city industrialist Shashi Kiran Shetty.

The late superstar’s Carter Road home is being demolished by its current owner, city industrialist Shashi Kiran Shetty.
After the actor’s death in 2012, his family sold off the bungalow to Shetty, reportedly for a sum of Rs 90 crore. Sources say he will construct a sea-facing tower on the premises.
