Not Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday Is Vijay Deverakonda's New Heroine -First Look OUT

Even though Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda has not set his foot in Bollywood, he already has become one star, well, all thanks to Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh which was a Telugu remake of his film. Well, now it seems like, with Arjun Reddy’s fame, filmmaker Karan Johar has paved Vijay’s way to Bollywood and this is because he has now roped him for a new Pan-India along with Ananya Panday. That’s right. Vijay and Ananya will be sharing screen space in this Puri Jagannadh directorial venture who has also directed Temper which was remade in Hindi, titled Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan.
This film is produced by KJo’s production house and since Karan Johar is in complete awe of Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda as he had earlier bought the rights of Vijay’s film, Dear Comrade, the filmmaker has yet again associated with the star and we honestly can’t keep calm. Earlier there were reports that Janhvi Kapoor was being considered for the part but Ananya takes the prize. Just a short time ago, Ananya announced Vijay’s big Bollywood debut film and her association with the team. In the pictures, the team is having a reading session while having a ball time with each other.
While announcing the new film, she captioned her pictures as, “Happy, blessed and excited to be associated for a Pan-India film with our director @purijagannadh Producers @karanjohar @charmmekaur @apoorva1972 @DharmaMovies @PuriConnects #PCfilm Welcoming Mr. Deverakonda @TheDeverakonda to Bollywood #AnanyaPandayVijayDeverakonda.”
On the other hand, Deverakonda captioned the same pictures as, “Presenting to you - #PuriDeverakonda Madness Starring - #AnanyaPandayVijayDeverakonda.” The film also stars another south actress Charmmekaur.
