Now, Anurag Basu Throws Tantrums!

Anurag Basu is playing hide-and-seek with a TV channel, which has assigned him to recreate Rabindranath Tagore’s short stories.
The first of the classics, Chokher Bali, is complete in the form of three one-hour-episodes- but the rest of the show is not. Anurag was supposed to deliver 15 stories by end of May, and none of the remaining fourteen are anywhere near to completion.
A source close to the broadcaster says, "Two other stories- Atithi and Charulata, of which the latter features Amrita Puri in the lead- have been shot but still remain unedited. Hes currently shooting only his fourth short story, Konkal. The show was commissioned to him last year."
Adds the source, "Anurag is very moody. The channel has no option but to wait."
