Athlete Neeraj Chopra’s big win at the Tokyo Olympics is still being celebrated! Neeraj Chopra bagged a gold medal in javelin throw at the ongoing games, thus making it an iconic moment of 2021 for India. Even before the buzz begins on the internet about the filmmakers planning to make a biopic on him, an old interview video has caught our attention. Neeraj, in one of his old interviews with The Quint, revealed that he wants to see either Randeep Hooda or Akshay Kumar play him in the biopic.

We are not sure how old this video is. In it, Neeraj Chopra was also asked why he thought Randeep and Akshay would be apt for the role. To this, the star athlete said he liked that Randeep hails from Haryana. He was quoted as saying, “It’ll be great if a biopic is made. The people I like are Randeep Hooda from Haryana, and Akshay Kumar in Bollywood.” Are filmmakers listening? Neeraj Chopra created history during the Tokyo Olympics 2020 as his javelin reached 87.58 metres on the field.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, Prithiviraj. His spy thriller, Bell Bottom will be released in theatres in India on August 19, 2021.
