Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is making headlines for all the wrong reasons! A picture of her smoking at her cousin Alanna Panday’s mehendi ceremony has gone viral and it has spread like a wildfire on the internet. In the picture shared by one of Ananya’s fellow wedding attendees, she could be seen at the ceremony with her family, holding a cigarette. Soon after this picture hit online, netizens started to troll Ananya while expressing their shock.
The Student of the Year 2 actress is receiving severe backlash on social media over her viral smoking picture. One of the Reddit users took a screenshot of the picture that has now been pulled down and shared it with the caption, “Was not expecting Ananya to be a smoker. Another social media user said, “Crap, I didn’t know this. She is that beautiful and has such cute lips, can’t believe she is a smoker. Dang.” One comment can be read, “yeh smoke kar rehi hai, I can’t believe. The 24-year-old actress is seen standing at one corner and smoking while the guests gathered to celebrate in the picture that has sparked discussion. On Tuesday evening, Ananya attended her cousin’s mehendi along with her parents Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey. Others present at the ceremony which was held at Sohail Khan’s home, were Atul Agnihotri, Alvira, Helen, Salma Khan, Deanne Panday, and Chikki Panday.
On the work front, Ananya Panday will next be seen alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav in the upcoming film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. She has also teamed up with Ayushmann Khurrana for Dream Girl 2.
