Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, who has impressed the audience with his versatile performances for decades, recently took to his official social media handle to warn his fans. He revealed that his Twitter account had been hacked and requested his follower to not engage with any content from his accont until the issue is resolved. This is not the first time a celebrity’s social media handle has been hacked.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Bajpayee confirmed that his account on the micro-blogging website has been hacked by someone. He wrote, “My Twitter account has been hacked. Please do not engage with anything coming from my profile today until the issue is resolved. Working towards a resolution. While there has no unusual activity has been detected on his Twitter profile, one can never be too cautious. For the unversed, before the 53-year-old actor, Turkish hackers had hacked the twitter handles of Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Nora Fatehi too were victims of online hacking. It was also reported that the PMO Twitter account was restored within a few minutes of it being hacked. The actor has made a mark in the industry with his ground-breaking performances in movies like Satya, Sonchiriya, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Aligarh, Special 26 and Kaun?, among many more. His upcoming movie Joram, will be premiered at the 52nd International Film Festival Rotterdam. Directed by Devashish Makhija, the movie stars Zeeshan Ayub, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Smita Tambe, Megha Mathur and Rajshri Deshpande in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee studios, the Joram is said to release in India in 2023.
