Shilpa Shetty injured herself while shooting for the action sequence for her upcoming project Indian Police Force, directed by Rohit Shetty
Shilpa Shetty got hurt while shooting for her upcoming project. The actress is quite active on social media, she keeps her fans updated through the same. The ‘Hungama 2’ actress gave her fans the sad news of her injury via her social media account.
Shetty took to her Instagram handle and shared a photo of her in a wheelchair, wearing a cast on her left leg inside a hospital. In the picture, the ‘Nikamma’ actress smiled and waved the victory sign with both of her hands despite the injury on her leg. The actress wore a white T-shirt, blue denim jacket and pants. Along with picture, she wrote, “They said, Roll camera action - “break a leg!” I took it literally Out of action for 6 weeks, but I’ll be back soon stronger and better. Till then, dua mein yaad rakhiyega Prayers always work With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.”
Soon her comments section was filled with well wishes and everyone supported her. Her sister Shamita Shetty reacted with, “My munki strongest”. Her friend from the industry including Sophie Choudry commented, “Omg!! Get well soon Superwoman Shilpa” while Nikitin Dheer wrote, “Get fit soon!”. Even her fans commented ‘Get well soon’.
For the unversed, Shilpa was shooting for Rohit Shetty’s web series, Indian Police Force also starring Sidharth Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, and Vivek Oberoi which will air on OTT Amazon Prime Video.
Earlier, Shilpa Shetty and Rohit Shetty also shared a BTS video from the shoot, performing an action sequence from the series. In the clip, Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shett and Nikin Dheer are seen perforommg stunts. The ‘Dus’ actress shared the clips with the caption, “Never a dull moment on sets of #IndianPoliceForce! Raw and real! Don’t miss @itsrohitshetty on the harness #teamwork @sidmalhotra @nikitindheer @rod__sunil @primevideoin”, while the Singham director captioned the video, “Pure Desi Hindustaani Action! #INDIANPOLICEFORCE @primevideoin @theshilpashetty @sidmalhotra @nikitindheer.”
