Singer Sona Mohapatra, who is known to share her opinion on social media, has slammed Indian TV channels for featuring 'MeToo' accused celebrities on shows. She condemned the makers and channel for roping in filmmaker Sajid Khan on Bigg Boss 16. To note, several sexual assault allegations were put against Sajid by women from the industry during the MeToo movement. Sona even slammed other Me Too accused singers Anu Malik and Kailash Kher's appearances on a reality show. 

Taking to her Twitter handle, Mohapatra while replying to a news anchor's post, wrote, “This is #SajidKhan, now on a reality TV show. Then there is #AnuMalik judging a music reality show on TV, for children no less. #KailashKher? Celebrity Judge on TV. ALL called out by many many women in @IndiaMeToo. And, Sona Mohapatra did not stop here. She also took a dig at Sajid's cousin Farhan Akhtar for staying quiet when the Housefull director was accused by actresses of sexual assault. She mentioned that Farhan and many others only speak up and take a stand at their convenience.

On the premier day of Bigg Boss 16, Sajid Khan spoke about his work getting affected by such allegations and revealed that he did have much work and he has been at home for the past four years. So when he got a call from the Colors team, he said yes as he thought the show might help him learn something about himself.
