Last year, on this date, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment. The news of his death left many heartbroken. His death created a huge buzz and many are still demanding justice for the Chhichhore star. Today, on the occasion of his death anniversary, CBI gave a major update on the actor's case. As per a report in Republic, the investigating agency clarified that his death case is not closed yet and the investigation is still on.
As per a report in Republic, giving an update on the actor's death case, CBI states, 'Wrong to say we have closed the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The investigation is still on.' The report in Republic also states that the CBI is currently looking into all angles.'
After SSR's death, Mumbai police was investigating the case and termed it as 'suicide'. After SSR's father lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty accusing her of abetment to suicide and more, Bihar police stepped into the matter. CBI then took over the case and questioned Rhea and others in relation to the case.
Rhea, her brother Showik and some members of SSR's staff were arrested in relation to the drugs case. Remembering the actor on his death anniversary, Rhea took to Instagram and wrote, 'There isn't a moment where I believe that you aren't here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now - watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me. I wait for you everyday to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere - I know you're here with me...'
