BJP MLA Urges Virat Kohli To Divorce Paatal Lok Producer Anushka Sharma, 'Woh Desh Bhakt Hai, Anushka Ko Talak De Dena Chahiye'
he controversies surrounding Anushka Sharma's recently-released OTT show, Paatal Lok, as a producer, doesn't seem to stop anytime soon. It was only recently that an MLA from BJP, Nandkishor Gurjar had filed a complaint against the actress for using his picture in the show, without his consent. The politician had written a letter to Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar, demanding a ban on the show. He has filed a complaint against the producer under the National Security Act for allegedly causing a communal stir. 

Nandkishor also accused Sharma of trying to malign Bharatiya Janata Party's image through her show. He also alleged them of trying to show a terror-free image of Pakistan in Paatal Lok. Now, in a conversation with Newsroom Post, the same politician could be heard suggesting Anushka Sharma's husband and Indian skipper Virat Kohli of separating from her, meaning giving the actress divorce. Yes, you read that right! It appears that the BJP MLA is so miffed with Anushka Sharma that he made such statements. The politician, in his statement, said, "Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh k liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye (Virat is a nationalist as he has played for the nation, he should divorce Anushka)."

Prior to this, the Zero actress was served with a legal notice for allegedly hurting sentiments of the Gorkha community in one of the scenes, while a streak of netizens accused her of glorifying Hinduphobia and demanded a ban on the show. Anushka Sharma, however, is yet to react to these controversies.
