Panipat Trailer: Arjun Kapoor's Maratha Avatar, Sanjay Dutt's Fierce Stance - Five Things That Stand Out
The trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker's period-drama Panipat is out. It features Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Here are five things we loved about the trailer
For the first time in his life, Arjun Kapoor has picked up a period drama and must say, he has put in a lot of effort to nail as Sadashiv Rao Bhau. In Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Panipat, Arjun has stepped into the shoes of a fierce and dedicated Maratha who is willing to kill and get killed for the love of his country. Kriti Sanon will essay the role of his wife while Sanjay Dutt will be his staunch enemy, Ahmed Shah Abdali. The trailer of this film is out and let's say, it is quite interesting. Here are five things that stand out in the trailer:
1) Arjun Kapoor
He is the star of the battle of Panipat. He has rightly gotten into the skin of his character of Sadashiv Rai Bhau and appears to be the perfect Maratha who can go to any length for his country. Though his dialogue delivery could have been much better, we like the fierceness he portrays.
2) Sanjay Dutt
A hero is nothing without his villain. Sanjay Dutt as Ahmed Shah Abdali is too good. His character appears to be quite cruel and the way Sanjay Dutt has put forth his vicious act, it is commendable.
3) The background score
The music of Panipat has been given by Ajay Atul and it rightly captures the essence of the era the film is based in.
4) Dialogues
"Mein iss dharti ke meeti ke ek kan ke liye bhi marne ke liye tayar hoon", waah what a dialogue. Ashok Chakradhar has finely managed to invoke the essence of patriotism with his words in Panipat. 5) Grandeur
Being an Ashutosh Gowariker film, we expected Panipat to have the biggest set ever and well, he did prove us right to a certain degree. The fights scenes appear to large than life and it would be a visual treat to watch the film on the big screen for sure.
