Pankaj Tripathi's Brother-In-Law Passes Away In A Car Accident; Actor's Sister In Critical Condition- Read REPORTS
Pankaj Tripathi's sister and brother-in-law got into a car accident, while the former was admitted to the hospital, the latter passed away
Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law Rajesh Tiwari, also known as Munna Tiwari, left for his heavenly abode on Saturday afternoon. He breathed his last after a car accident. He was traveling with his wife, the actor’s sister Sarita Tiwari on GT Road in Nirsa at 4 PM. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, he died after the accident and the actor’s sister is currently admitted to the hospital in critical condition. She is receiving her treatment at the SNCU of Dhanbad Medical College Hospital
As per the report, the husband-wife duo were traveling from Kamalpur in Gopalganj, Bihar to Chittranjan, West Bengal. Before reaching the Nirsa Market Chowk, their high-speed car, WB44D-2899, crashed into a divider. Due to the severe impact, the car was badly shattered and the front part of the car was extensively damaged. Hindustan Times further reports that the locals and the police came together, after the accident and extracted Sarita Tiwari and Rajesh Tiwari from their car. They were immediately rushed to the Dhanbad Medical College Hospital. While Rajesh was declared dead by the emergency doctors, Sarita was admitted to the surgical ICU, after emergency treatment. For the unversed, the Mimi actor’s brother-in-law worked for the Indian Railways and was posted in Chittaranjan. The couple was returning to Chittaranjan from his village when the accident happened. Pankaj Tripathi is yet to share an official statement on the passing of his brother-in-law and an update on his sister’s condition.
It was in August 2023, that the 47-year-old actor lost his father. The official statement share by his family read, “It’s with a heavy heart to confirm that Pankaj Tripathi’s father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari is no more. He lived a wholesome life of 99 years. His last rites will be performed today amongst his close family. Pankaj Tripathi is currently on his way to his village in Gopalganj.”
