Pankaj Tripathi in an interview reveals that Shehnaaz Gill’s name reminds him Sidharth Shukla and even mentioned that they were deeply connected
Pankaj Tripathi is a celebrated artist with a massive fan following in our country. Even many actors have spoken highly about him. Tripathi gets into the skin of the character and gives a phenomenal performance. The great actor has won many accolades for his films and web series performances. Recently in an interview, ‘Mirzapur’ actor spoke about late actor Sidharth Shukla and his rumored girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill.
In interaction with Connect FM Canada, Pankaj was told that Shehnaaz Gill had greatly praised him when she appeared on the talk show. Responding to this he said Gill reminds him of the late actor. He even mentioned that the Bigg Boss winner used to respect him a lot and they were deeply connected.
He quipped, “Haan woh mujhe betaur abhineta pasand karti hain uske liye aabhar. Thank you. Abhi aapne Shehnaaz bola toh Sidharth ki yaad aa gayi. Bohot logon ko nahi maalum hai aur mein bataya bhi nahi hun lekin Sidharth bohot aadar karta tha mera. Hum log kaafi connected they (Yes, she likes me as an actor. Thank you. Now when you took Shehnaaz's name, it instantly reminded me of Sidharth. A lot of people do not know this because I haven't talked about it much but Sidharth used to respect me a lot. We were very much connected).”
Meanwhile, Gill rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss 13 where late actor Sidharth Shukla emerged as a winner. The duo's chemistry in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show won millions of hearts. Shukla passed away at the age of 40 last year due to cardiac arrest.
On the work front, Pankaj was seen last in Netflix film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga and Criminal Justice on Disney+ Hotstar. He will be seen next in Oh My God 2, alongside Sayani Gupta and Neeraj Kabi.
