Papa Sunny Deol's Next Plan Is To Launch Chhota Beta, Rajveer?- EXCLUSIVE
Rumour has it that Rajveer Deol is also interested in making it to movies and Papa Sunny is unlikely to leave any stone unturned
It's raining Deols, you can say. After seeing Karan Deol in Sunny Deol's recently released Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, get ready to see Karan's younger brother Rajveer. If the latest rumour in Bollywood is anything to by, Daddy Sunny now wants Rajveer too to make his foray in Bollywood.
If all goes well, Sunny's next directorial will star his younger son. Sources tell us that Sunny plans to shoot the film largely in Pune. The script is being fast finalised.
The modalities are also quickly being worked out, and as things stand today, Rajveer will also be launched by his father. Karan may not have set the screens on fire with Sunny's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, but that has not detered Sunny to envisage and set up Rajveer's maiden film.
The storyline has been kept under the wraps so far, but don't be surprised if the lukewarm response to PPDKP leads Sunny up his favourite lane, that is, action. There is a growing feeling in Bollywood circles that Karan too should have entered with an action drama. Action is something that is a trademark of Deols and it is likely then that Sunny would have come up with a more impressive film.
Anyway, one swallow does not make a summer. Besides Rajveer's first splash, we are also looking at Karan's second tryst. There is no reason why he should not make amends.
We also wonder why Sunny released Karan's first film along with two others- The Zoya Factor and Prassthanam. Even though those two did not ring the cash registers loudly, they certainly ate into a certain share of PPDKP and also gave the audience an option to choose their weekend film.
Sources who know Rajveer say that he is a very talented masala star who will exude immense confidence. Papa Sunny and even grandad Dharmendra are getting ready to ride on a new horse.
